Caring For A Peace Lily

Light: Most light conditions

Can tolerate most light conditions. Avoid complete darkness or bright direct sunlight (may burn your plant’s leaves). The more it gets, however, the more it’ll flower and the larger those flowers will be.

Water: 1-2 times a week

Peace Lilies are thirsty plants; their leaves will start to droop when they’re thirsty. Don’t be alarmed – a drink will perk it back up. As with all plants, the more light it gets the more water it will need – keep an eye open for its drooping leaves to signal when its time for a drink.

Difficulty: Some care required

Peace Lilies require a little more attention, as they’re thirsty plants. They’re also more sensitive to the chlorine and calcium found in tap water. To combat this, we recommend leaving your tap water out for 24-48 hours before waterting your plant to give the chlorine time to evaporate.

Pets: Careful with pets

This plant may cause mild mouth and stomach irritation if ingested.
